May 22, 2015 - Nice purple-carmine colour. On the nose, it is clearly St-Estèphe - intense black-blue fruits. After exposure to air, aromas of caramel, blackcurrants, coffee and gingerbread. On the palate, the attack is frank and quite bitter. Same aromas as on the nose, but behind the very present bitterness. Medium length. The next day, it is a little softer. Clearly St-Estèphe. Good wine, but I think I will pass my turn on the 2012 vintage. I’ll give it 88 as potential, though today it isn’t particularly pleasant unless you let it breath 24 hours.

Belle robe carmin.

3/6/16, 8:00 AM - I fully agree with your comment: quite bitter after one hour. Based on your comment I 'parked' it till the next day and indeed better.
Have some Meyney 2010 in my cellar; will keep them there for a couple of more years. Did you try the 2010?

3/14/16, 1:36 PM - Hi Lexer1980. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to taste the 2010, but based on the vintage it should be better than the 2012.
