  June 20, 2015 - Color was dark opaque purple
  Nose was ripe cherry, mint, mushrooms, and you get some heat too
  Palate is baked cherries, plum, anise, licorice
  When pop and poured, the heat takes over a bit, but there is some acidity to balance this wine out. Has textured tannins, but finished a bit bitter which resolved after it was opened for a few hours and even nicer the next day.
  
  Patience may be needed for this one to fully appreciate it.
