August 12, 2015 - Expected this to be better than the 2004 and it was not at all. The 2006 was weaker, thinner, flatter, and had less dimension that the 2004. I was not impressed and it was not a memorable wine. The 2004 was a "WOW" wine.
But dont get me wrong, this is still a very nice wine. I simply had higher hopes. We did not decant either. Perhaps that would helped.1 person found this helpful 2,950 views

8/13/15, 7:20 AM - Dont get me wrong, It was still a very good bottle. I just expected it to be better than the 2004. Thats why I gave it a 93. Everyone at the table loved it. I just had higher hopes. And I hope this makes your day better. I hope I didn't upset you to much with my review. I wasn't aware I made it personal for you.
