August 23, 2015 - I have a love/hate feeling about this wine. Sensational fruit with lots of red and black cherry and enticing baking spice. Dense and powerful. Love all that. But too much sweet cherry cola and a finish that smacks you in the face with heat. Don't love that part at all. Love/ hate.

7/1/18, 4:59 PM - With the extra 3 years the heat and sweetness did integrate and resolve. This was really good tonight. Still very RRV without any mushroom or earthy component so I don’t think Andy Smith is trying to achieve a “ Burgundian “ profile.
