  August 30, 2015 - This wine is dark and has a great nose of black fruit and pure cab flavors. Deep dark blackberry fruit that is rich with some mineral notes and dusty tannins on the finish. This is just starting to peak and needed about an hour to pick up length and complexity. This is not the head turner or showy flash in the pan wine. This is though what Napa is all about with upfront fruit and enough acidity and tannin to wrap it all up in a beautiful package. Give this another year or so or short decant.
