October 10, 2015 - Lemon colour. Muted nose. Intense acidity, good solid fruit core but little in the way of secondary characteristics. This could be a good wine, but is underwhelming at present. I expect more of vintage champagne. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's on offer at £33]

5/30/16, 12:04 AM - Lanson Gold Label is down to £33 at Sainsbury's with a further 25% off when you buy any six bottles. (So it comes down to £24.75 in a mix of six.) I'm tempted to get a few to lay down. Just thought you might like to know.
