  October 11, 2015 - This wine has been sleeping in cellar (60F) for 8 years. Pulled it out on a lark last night, fearing it might be past it's prime. It wasn't, it was lovely!. Color: med burgundy, very slightest of bricking at edge. Did not decant, or even give much air time. Wasn't necessary. Nose: Strawberry and cherry, slightly muted. Some floral overtones. On th epalate. Highly integrated fruit, still quite nice acidity and tartness back of the palate. Finish: Quite long, clean and dry. Some residual berry and earthiness. Quite impressed. Saved half the bottle with vacu-vin for 2nd night observation.
