M DU VIN Does not like this wine: 70 points
October 22, 2015 - Disgorged in 2009. This champagne was a major disappointment as it was overly oxidized and well past its time.

10/22/15, 5:55 AM - A good friend who is near to reaching his goal of Master of Wine reports that he has encountered several bottles of overly oxidized Substance of late. Most of these were disgorged in 2008, but the bottle I opened last night had been disgorged in October 2009. Substance tends towards an oxidative style and I think that this style can result in an over-oxidized bottle if one cellars the wine for more than a couple of years.
