  November 23, 2015 - Gee this has become a truly interesting wine. No notes taken at the time so I'll be brief. It was really the 2nd night that this came alive. A real Rhone pencil driven nose along with definite aniseed. Silky and powerful on the palate but at no point is it 'big' or over the top, just powerful. The palate is extremely smooth and silky. Some definite spice to boot. I have to say I am really impressed. Kind of a best of old world meets best of new world deal.
