November 28, 2015 - Bacon fat, raw steak, lilac, chiseled rock, incense and French Onion soup. Distinct layers of microfiber tannins that seem endless, with the depth and richness of all things contemplative. So much terroir - the acreage is stunning and a clos of its own merit - literally yards away from the winery/tasting room . Drink 2016 - 2026.

Thank you for your kind words. Since Scot and Jake Bilbro purchased the property and winery in 2011, the wines have been magnificent. The tasting room is rustic, and very hospitable - the winery is actually "the room next door". The property is absolutely beautiful. Limerick Lane is a must for anyone who wants to submerge into real Russian River Valley wines.

12/1/15, 7:12 PM - Thanks, Matt. Going by your description, it sounds like I'd very much enjoy visiting the winery, but being on the East coast puts me at a major comparative disadvantage. It is consistent, nonetheless, with what I've heard from others, that the change of ownership in 2011 has brought the winery back to life, and with gusto! Much care and hard work definitely shows in the wine. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised how responsive and helpful their staff were when I had some online glitches with their website during the annual allocations.
