December 13, 2015 - Moderate nose. Nice black and red fruit flavors. Fruity but not a fruit bomb. More old world than new in style. Sort of like a soft Bdx. Very elegant. Seems to be near/past peak.

12/14/15, 2:18 AM - This wine typically lives for a good 15yrs, 2010 was a decent vintage too, I'd be disappointed and surprised if this is past already.

12/14/15, 1:39 PM - Thanks for the comment! I had this wine earlier this year and I recall it as being somewhat better. The tasting last night involved anumber of truly spectacular wines The Signature may have suffered from being in the wrong slot in the tasting. We discussed that possibility along with the possibility that the bottle was simply going through a lull or a bit of a funk. Of course, it could have also been bottle variation. This bottle was beautifully integrated. My concern that it might be past lies in the softness of the wine and its lack of acid.Just dosn't seem like there is much there to keep it going strongl I have one more bottle I will be opening in a year or two.... It will be interesting to see how that bottle fares!
