    December 27, 2015 - Fantastic!

Deep red color, with high clarity.

Nose wafting of mineral notes, with sweet red fruits and a hint of damp earth.

Attack leads with lush and pleasantly sweet combination of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. Mid palate is incredibly smooth velvet with nice sugars and an almost mineral "fruit loops" overtone.

Long slow finish with low acids help sustain the sweet fruit to the end.

Had this side by side with a 2008 Redman Willamette Valley Pinot. Both AMAZING but very different. This one being bigger on the fruit and the Redman showing some interesting leather, tobacco, and earth.

I'm starting to get into my 2008 Pinot stash a bit more now and they are all drinking wonderfully! I'd say they're at peak for the vintage generally speaking.
