  December 31, 2015 - Opened an decanted for an hour before drinking. Wonderful nose of blackberry and anise. Flavors of herbs, tart cherry and dark berry and just a touch of black pepper. Fine grained and very well integrated tannins. Finish is sweet (in a good way), laser focused, and persistent. Probably just getting mature and I will save my remaining bottle for a year or two. Very good example of Eric's touch with Syrah, and a fine example of why Sonoma Coast Syrahs find a welcome place in my cellar.
