January 1, 2016 - Similar in color to the '14 Pibarnon; nose on opening is somewhat reticent, with a rose nuance in the background.
Comes across as dilute on the mid-palate, although despite that "hole" in the wine, decent persistence on the finish. A complicating note of bitterness/acerbity on the finish as well.
At first glance here today, I have a preference for the Pibarnon.1 person found this helpful 812 views

1/3/16, 2:17 PM - Another glass of this about 48 hours after opening; the palate has filled out a bit, but overall the wine still comes across as a little dilute. Not bad, but not a "grade A" Rose' for this property.

10/6/16, 5:03 PM - Thought you might be interested in the note I just posted on this wine. I had such an unexpected experience with it that I went back and read others' reviews. I found just the sort of hole in the mid-palate that you did, but after a solid two hours the wine was superb. Who ever heard of a rose that behaves like that?
