  January 3, 2016 - Intense deep purple colour, very inky, paints your hole glass. Decanted for 3+ hours. Lovely seductive aromas of mulberry, creme de cassis, toasted oak and marzipan. Very nice barrel, suppose better percentage of new oak used. On the palate, pleasant freshness, nice mouthfeel, juicy, chewy and meaty tannins, medium acidy. Round and spicy. Medium finish. Still a baby. Drink 2018 - 2025
