January 5, 2016 - I entered a score thinking it would act as a personal reminder and nothing more . I didn't realise a score with no tasting note would look so strange. So belatedly here are our thoughts.
Ergo ; very fine mature Bordeaux. The sort of wine one imagined it would be.An Englishman's claret and no mistake though I think more than the English appreciate aged Beychevelle . Classic, no frills , cabernet dominated ambrosia.I paid less than $25 for this bottle in 1998. I can only smile happily , based on quality, at its worth today.
