January 15, 2016 - Even in its youth, this is a great wine! Upon opening it caught my attention. While it comes from the Rocks, it doesn't exhibit an overpowering funk that is often reflected in wines from this region (e.g. Cayuse, Reynvaan, etc.) This had beautiful/pretty aromatics that continued to develop. The bacon and lavender notes I received throughout the evening were thoroughly enjoyed. I love what they're doing at Delmas!
