  February 15, 2016 - I agree this is a bit shut down. still an incredible wine with no hard edges, cedar, toasted oak, and a mellow cassis profile. The nose of violet and vanilla is still incredible. I have had this a few times and this is a near perfect wine whe I tried 2 years back, but lay down for at least 4-5 years, more like 15 years and I am confident it will be pushing perfection then. Now it is a great wine but lacking the balance it had before.
