Community Tasting Note

February 13, 2016 - Last of my bottles. Decanted 4 hours before pouring. Typical Barolo cherry, earthy flavor profile. Tannins very much under control after 11+ years. Paired perfectly with pork shank Osso Bucco, Risotto Milanese, roasted Romanesco and rainbow carrots. Guests drinking the Pio for the first time were highly impressed with the wine.... and the food pairing!!

2/16/16, 4:04 PM - Thanks for noticing. This should have been 93 but it doesn't seem there is way to edit the note.
