March 9, 2016 - Medium red fruit and game, but still a bit muted on open. Tense and wound on the palate. After about an hour, lushness starts to emerge and the wine starts to reveal itself. After three hours, it finds itself -- and, boy is it good. Vibrant, fresh acidity and intense strawberry/raspberry fruit, but all the while maintains balance. Lingering finish with a touch of wet stone.
