  March 12, 2016 - Opened at dinner at 701 in Washington DC. Meaty syrah yet the tannins are fairly soft. Lots of dark fruit, black cherry and raspberry with a wonderful smokiness that lasts a long time. Fairly long finish. Went wonderfully with the smoked duck breast that I paired it with. Also stood up well to dessert.
