  April 2, 2016 - Second wine at the French Laundry. Very focused nose of fully ripe red cherry, oak and allspice. Elegant, dark, subtly layered palate of blackberry essence, clove, chocolate, with a fine, luxurious, long finish. Wonderful accompaniment to the second meat-driven half of TFL's tasting menu.
