  April 9, 2016 - Worked well with steak and asparagus. Clear, zero sediment, lighter color than expected, and not as in-your-face as some past G&Ls have been, but good fruit up front, with the requisite zinfandel spices, some anise, no oak to speak of, and surprisingly mellow finish. The exceptionally high alcohol was well-hidden in a very cool bottle...until an hour or so later.
