April 30, 2016 - The 2014 Stoller Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is dark, big, and very heavy on the palate, overwhelmingly so for me. It defies the usual descriptors--and expectations--of an Oregon Pinot noir. It is also very different from Stoller's 2013 Dundee Hills Pinot noir. Keep this monster in the bottle until the 2020's or serve now with the roasted wild boar you killed yourself.

5/9/16, 6:52 PM - This wine is very moderate for Oregon. A monster would be the Helen's single vineyard. This is a great wine for mid week at a reasonable price point. Drink by 2020 not later.
