December 28, 2007 - Fig, cranberry, and green pepper notes on the nose. A spicy little number with a lot going on, plum, cherry, green pepper/jalapeño, with a coffee finish. This is a fun little wine that is very drinkable and enjoyable with or without food.
A little breathing turns this into nice deep blackberry, raspberry, mocha, and a little green pepper, but very clean, exceptional wine for Colorado, or elsewhere for that matter. I'm from the Denver area and regularly attend the Colorado Wine Festival and have seen great progress over the years, this is one of them. Will give this one another try to see if holds up to repeat tastings. Cheers!1,480 views
