May 21, 2016 - This stood out at the tasting in Gigondas. Partly due to the fact that there were a lot of 2013s which is a nice vintage, but not nearly as nice as 2012, and partly due to the fact that la Bouïssiere rocks! I like both cuvées, this one sees more oak. If you have visited the region, the vineyards sit in the dentelles de montmirailles, making it a bit more high altitude (although this is absolutely perfectly ripe). A beautiful wine made in a beautiful place. At 25 EUR prix domaine this is a good deal. is see that drinking windows entered for this wine make it seem like this is a gulp away kind of CdR. While it gulps away nicely, I am pretty certain that it can last for 15+ years.

5/21/16, 1:05 PM - Thanks for your review! Bought this wine 2 years ago in Gigondas (la Bouissiere rocks definitely!). At that time, the wine was not really approachable, fully dominated by oak. Now it seems to enter a new phase :)
