  May 23, 2016 - Wow. I mean this bottle was firing on all cylinders. Yes, 1998 is a vastly underrated vintage for Montalcino, and yes, Lisini is perhaps Montalcino's most consistent and reliable producer, but this bottle was just drinking perfectly. Tons of terroir, great structure. Drinking perfectly now, but I'd also feel totally comfortable leaving these in a cool cellar until 2025.
