  May 24, 2016 - Costiera Amalfitana; 5/16/2016-5/25/2016: Tightly wound and ratcheted down by tannins, this Taurasi has extreme concentration of blackberry and plum fruit with licorice, asphalt, and burning incense. The nose was slightly barrel-marked (corky); fortunately it didn't carry over to the palate. Good wine, but I prefer the 2010 normale. Drink 2017-2025
