May 31, 2016 - A Pinot Noir and Cantonese seafood dinner at Chuen Kee in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. The last of three Pinot Noirs. Significantly more powerful than the Kistler. Not much more to add to the last note: "Powerful and intense. Dark cherries on the nose. Huge structure, medium tannins, long and silkily finish. Sipped nicely after 3+ hours breathing in the bottle. Blueberries, blackberries and cherries! Silky and elegant finish. Will lay down for many a year. Pleased as punch to have quite a few bottles in the cellar. Very simply a stunning wine! She hits the floor like the gal in Flashdance, pirouettes gracefully mid-palate and finishes elegantly to the London Symphony Orchestra...a phenomenal performance!" We did get some nice chocolate and coffee notes in this bottle...yummy!
