  June 11, 2016 - Cork had a layer of dark crystalized residual sugar on it but was otherwise intact. Decanted and noted a dark rust red/black colour. Tasted almost immediately. Quite opaque in the glass. Floral and vanilla notes on the nose. Cherry and licorice with a medium length finish. A very nice glass of wine. Not past its prime, but likely little benefit to additional aging.
