  June 15, 2016 - This caught me by surprise.
  
  Full body, cool and fresh acid, and classy structure.
  
  nose brambly blackberry and cassis with some cool menthol and ash.
  
  palate of wild blackberries, black plum, and fig. just ripe enough but not sappy or flabby. There is a striking graphite/ashy mineral note that can't get enough of. A dash of red pepper flake and hot abv but i see this improving with age.
  
  tannins are very firm and young with plenty of grip.
  big potential if this softens a little with time.
