June 16, 2016 - A fellow CTer suggested we pop open a 1/2 bottle to experience this blockbuster before we waited decades to try the 750 ml. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!! Opaque, purple, Malbec-like impact on our eyes...majestically magical mysterious!!! Bouquet of intense blueberries and blackberries with massive ristretto tones that catapulted us back to train stations in Rome and Florence...awesome memories! Palate is mega-powerful, full-bodied that pounds like a heavyweight champ from the outset to the middle rounds and until the ref called it a win...our entire mouth was exceedingly giddy about being knocked out. Maybach is a huge automobile, but this wine makes the car seem like a Dodge Dart...the wine purrs like a lion on the hunt...buckle up and enjoy the mixed metaphors ;-). By the way, barely legal now and will lay-down for more than a lot of years...OMYG!

7/21/16, 1:54 PM - Taking Imitrex-so 18 days a month I feel normal. (The day of and almost all of the second day-comes back around 5:00 P.M.) Possible Botox shots added to this. I will have the tightest scalp in town. If I can get to feeling good up to five days a week we will start traveling again.

Yes with age comes wisdom-however for me that wisdom is thrown out the window regarding the price for a bottle of wine I like:) Dave
