July 6, 2016 - Decanted, then returned to bottle for serving. VERY dark, opaque color, blackberry/blueberry on the nose and palate with a surprisingly soft mouth feel and a very long finish, which was unlike any Tannat I have had (thinking OLDER '01 Chateau Perron from Kermit Lynch, which took about 12 years to mature). This is a very special experience which we enjoyed with perfect rare burgers. Probably a 92+ by the time we finished the bottle.

7/7/16, 2:34 PM - How long was the total decant time before consumption? Was it decanted then returned to bottle immediately or was it given time in the decanter?
