  July 17, 2016 - Popped and poured a bit. Purple/Dark Ruby. Very slight bricking.Beautiful Syrah nose, Immediate nose was blueberry with a hint of earthiness. Gave it time and it showed its stuff: Blueberries, ripe raspberries, light pepper, and definite violets. In the mouth: It has come together from an earlier bottle. Mature, smooth mid, and finishes with soft tannins and a bit of acidity. Great with BBQ ribs. Cellared correctly since release.
