Community Tasting Note

July 23, 2016 - I opened, filtered and decanted. Earth early, later more black fruit on the nose. Well balanced, supple, mid palate has a nice acidity. I thoroughly enjoyed. The Barton Family can be proud of this particular year.

7/27/16, 4:09 AM - thanks for your note...how long did that fruit nose take to come through, just out of interest? cheers, chatters

7/27/16, 3:12 PM - Chatters, I kept the bottle upright for 24 hours before opening, I then poured the bottle through a filter into a decanter, and poured two glasses. The black fruit was noticed in the initial pour appx. 30 minutes in. The glasses were Falto Denkart universal. The 2nd glass was even better from the decanter after appx an hour or so. Best, David
