August 5, 2016 - 1st of 36, decanted an hour, perfect cork and level - essentially as Feb note, if slightly dumber and backward, final glass started to show some more nuance, feels just about to enter drinking window with a 15 to 20 year life. F (17.5).

8/9/16, 10:09 AM - hi Chatters - depends on cellar temperature and how many bottles you have. If a case of 12 and a warmish cellar, I'd look at it any time from now, but I suspect it'll be at its best 2020-30. I'm looking at all my 02s and they're just about there.....even the Haut Brion, though v young! I'll leave Lafite, LLC, Margaux, Latour, etc. until next year. I think the vintage better than its reputation and good medium term, if without the concentration and long term potential of 2000, 96 and 82 or the grace of 90 or 85.
