    August 4, 2016 - My second favourite 2010 Brunello to this date. Great structure with soft yet grand tannin, fantastic integration of acidity, texture of velvet, depth of multi-layered glazes of red fruit and vegetal elements, long finish. Superb value!

    9/6/16, 6:29 PM - Dear Rashcar, my favourite 2010 Brunello to date is Poggio di Sotto 2010. It has even more depth in flavours compared to Pertimali.

Jeff Leve kind of changed my outlook on wine. I now go for excellent QPR wine. So my budget per bottle is $150 and under. Again thanks for your recommendation.

    I totally agree. With a region hitting its peak in a vintage like 2010, you can't go wrong with any reputable producers, so might as well spend less than more....it is in the challenging vintages that the top top houses will get you something extraordinary!

    That being said, I still find Poggio Di Sotto of excellent value with that little extra to put it on top of many other solid producers, into the same league as Biondi Santi and Soldera for a fraction of its price!
