Community Tasting Note

  August 15, 2016 - One final day 2 note from a dinner with Outplaying and his significantly better half ;^)
  
  Light yellow-gold in the glass, with a reticent nose that gives you a little white fruit cocktail.
  
  Light on it's feet for a Hirtzberger Smaragd, with adequate acidity and decent length - this is still a youngster, but also pretty enjoyable right now.
  
  We had this last night alongside the 2002, 2005 and 2012, and this is very similar in profile to that 2012 - I think this is fine to drink now, but also promises the potential for favorable future development as well.
