Community Tasting Note

  August 23, 2016 - Same bottle as my previous tasting note. Opaque brown. Coffee, chocolate, figs on the nose. Fig tart on the palate, sweet and dense but not cloying, a lightening of acid, long reverberating finish. Still lovely, maybe not quite what it was when opened two months ago. 50 + 18 + 17 + 9.

  2/12/17, 12:22 PM - The shelf life once open is my biggest concern about when to open this bottle. Did you notice it continuing to fade quickly?

  2/12/17, 2:20 PM - Unfortunately I don't have much further memory of it! My vague recollection is that it was fairly stable after this tasting note.
