  August 12, 2016 - I was given this wine from a co-worker as a gift. I was very excited to receive a Petit Verdot, as I have only had a pure varietal from one other winery (see Eagle Eye). Honestly, I was blown away- This wine is fantastic. The wine has a gorgeous purple color that reminds me of Syrah... as well as the Eagle Eye Petit Verdot. Very nice flavor that does kind of punch you in the teeth... something I do like in wine. I really think that this one is a gem. I would love to do a side by side with the Eagle Eye to see nuances as it is so rare to get a pure varietal Petit Verdot.
