  September 2, 2016 - Medium to dark garnet. Expressive, complex and elegant nose of barnyard, graphite, cedar, leather and cherries. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and perfect balance. Long aftertaste. Surprisingly good, exceeded my expectations given the reputation of the vintage. At peak right now. Thankfully, lesser vintages reach their peak within a human's life span, unlike great vintages that need ages to get there.
