  September 12, 2016 - This could have used a few more years of bottle time, but in lieu of that it could have used a few more hours of decanter time. It was decanted and first tasted about half an hour later, but when it was finished about four hours later it was just really starting to open up. The aromas started showing fruit after an hour or so, opening up in a way that hinted what flavors would follow a few hours later. On the palate, at the 3-4 hour point, the dusty earthy notes were starting to show more dry berry notes, with just a hint of lushness. Still, a very tasty and enjoyable wine.
