  September 14, 2016 - Enjoyed this stunning (& unusual) wine at Trattoria No. 10 in Chicago last night. Remembered this varietal from my time in Fruili in the late 90s. Very unique and powerful. Spicy, dark red fruits. Inky dark in color - simply gorgeous in the glass. Very fine tannins with a finish that just keeps going. Still youthful after 8 years. Should last for a decade or more. Seek this one out if you can find it.
