September 27, 2016 - Down to my second to last bottle, and for $9 on sale, this is my QPR wine of the year. Out of 2 cases, I had one (despite DIAM cork) that had TCA, but the others were just flat out delicious, always providing a fresh mixture of red (mostly) and (some) black berries that never failed to please on the nose and at the dinner table. I have been drinking this wine for 10+ years, it's always been a purchase between 1-3 cases per year, and this 2013 is as good as I can recall. A great wine to pour at a casual dinner (or lunch, gasp!) for your friends that have no/little experience with Italian wines; this Brigaldara is indeed a benchmark for quality and tradition, at this price level and beyond. 13,0% abv., just as good on night 2 as it was when first opened. recommended

Served non-blind; I love the range/versatility this offers for food pairing

10/5/16, 9:11 PM - Loved this wine. Went through a case of 07..last bottle in 2012. Why? I have no idea. Reading your note makes me reminisce about the meals shared with friends. Need to get some more of this on my table again. Thanks Tim for invoking the memories.
