Community Tasting Note

October 1, 2016 - Last tasted this about 1 1/2 years ago and found it to be extraordinary, now 2 out of the 3 bottles that I opened tonight were premoxed. I wish I had drunk them all last year. The 3rd bottle is ok but on the decline. I have 2 left that I think I'll be opening in the very near future. Bummer!

10/2/16, 8:30 PM - Pox on these 10s? god. I have one left and I really like the 10 Vaudesir. Thanks for the caution.

10/4/16, 1:41 PM - Opened my last 2 last night and they were gone too. Very disappointing, especially considering how excellent it was 1 1/2 years ago. I'm going to stop aging my Chablis and start drinking them all up in the first 5 years. Sad that it's come to that.

10/6/16, 4:05 PM - Aggh, 2 more? I might as well kill my last one. Hell, maybe I will take it to dinner tonight and bid it farewell. Thanks for the replies and comments, appreciate it.

10/6/16, 4:32 PM - I took the plunge and opened my last one. It's pristine, which must be frustrating to hear. This has peaches, stone, green apple and its pretty gentle so I'm thinking it's in a optimal place. But, not nuttiness, no dark coloring, nothing off.

10/7/16, 7:52 AM - Frank, I'm glad your last bottle was good. Your description of it is how I remember my first bottle from 1 1/2 years ago.

10/7/16, 12:57 PM - mmc, I did revise my note to at least forewarn people that there is variation and the wine seems to be in the zone to best enjoy now anyway.
