  October 13, 2016 - $165 on a restaurant wine list! Please don't ask - I'm not telling where I got this :)
  
  Definitely greener with more pronounced bell pepper notes than either the 2010, 2009, 2007 and 2002
  
  Other than that has all the classic Rougeard hallmarks of great length and persistence in a calm, serene package
  
  This is not an overextracted fruit bomb with 15+% alcohol - it's a contemplative wine with 12.5% alcohol that just doesn't need to scream to be noticed that will probably last another 10+ years but will be considerably shorter lived in my opinion than say the riper and slightly less typical (but in no way less enjoyable) 2010
