Community Tasting Note

October 1, 2016 - Pale, slightly cloudy yellow. Complex nose of citrus, white flower, mint, and crushed rock. Concentrated lemon and mineral flavors on the palate. Finishes long and intense, with lemon and mineral notes. The 2011 Les Chenevottes is quite impressive and surpasses expectations. Good now.

10/21/16, 7:10 PM - Thanks for your note and rating. Sounds stunning. We have yet to sip the bottle we bought when visiting Chassagne-Montrachet. Great to read "good now". Do you think "better later"?

But the concentration & intensity are impressive and I suspect this has the structure to age so definitely "better later." Also, as is PYCM's style, there's so much sulphur you'll want to decant if you enjoy it now.
