Nose of petroleum, waxy fruit or flowers, anise or licorice and on the palate a bit of funk that leads to a really juicy tart finish with just a hint of sweetness that lingers in the back corners of your mouth for a couple minutes. Beautiful color too, very much the color of liquid gold. As someone else mentioned, this bottle also had a cork slightly protruding that was wet almost the whole way up but firm, no softness. The capsule pulled off so I don't think it was ever a leaker.
