  November 11, 2016 - Big wine. Contrary to some recent notes I thought nose was quite expressive - vanilla, pencil shavings, very dark fruit. The oak influence is obvious to me, but I'm sensitive to it. More really dark fruit, vanilla, and caramel round out the palate. Full bodied with pretty nice seamless texture. Some tannin is evident, so this can go for a while yet.
