December 2, 2016 - Bordeaux: Second wines in great vintages. (Valuas): Beautiful and classical bouquet with red an dark berry fruits, earth, autumn and rustic flavors. On the palate elegant dark and red berries, earth, autumns and mushrooms and firm acidity. The tannin still has a good bite, but overall the wine is quite mature.

6/21/18, 4:36 PM - was it the "grand vin" or "Clos du marquis" or the third lable?

6/22/18, 3:19 PM - This note is about the “grand vin”. Beside the second labels we had some “first” wines as well to see if we could spot them in this blind tasting. In my introduction you can read that – Except for the Pontet Canet 2009 - we did not recognize the first wines. The quality of the second labels is so good nowadays.
